Ghost of the Forest ch. 2      The morning sun had not yet begun to stretch its fingers along the horizon when Vander started preparing for his trip. Barren Through the desert I trudge unshaken, The star always watching, will the moon awaken? Heat bearing mercilessly off my skin, It yields no result, I am steeled within.  For years I've trudged this plain of waste, With eyes of resolve, and only determination to taste.
